Thierry Coppey did his MSc project in LAMP at EPFL on staged dynamic programming parsers. He then hacked 9 months at DATA lab and rewrote the DBToaster compiler back-end in Scala (improved perf and codegen for Akka distributed framework). Since April 2014 he’s working at Google Zürich.
